The Catskills’ Newest Indoor Park Will Open on April 19 for Summer Fun All Year Round

The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Water Park boasts 80,000-square-feet of slides, adventures, spa relaxation space, observation decks, and 84-degree fun.

The Catskills’ biggest water park will splash into action on Friday, April 19, in Monticello. Kartrite Resort & Indoor Water Park will feature 80,000-square-feet of waterpark space perfect for the whole family, all housed under an energy-efficient, Texlon transparent roofing system. The park boasts Catskills-meets-Manhattan style complete with more than 10 thrilling waterslides, lush landscaping, a cabana oasis, eight bars and restaurants serving locally sourced food, obstacle courses, Laser Tag, a rock wall, and even more fun.

The park is heated to 84 degrees year-round so everyone can enjoy water attractions without fear of being cold. Each of the park’s slides has its own personality, from the high-speed Krakken to the Flowrider surf simulator to the indoor/outdoor warm spa. Fifteen cabanas offer a reprieve from the sun and are stocked with lounge chairs, a television, and plenty of snacks to keep everyone entertained before they had back out to the slides. If the family is not feeling water one day, Kartrite has plenty more in store including arcade games at Playopolis, a rock wall, a rope obstacle course, virtual reality experiences, Laser Tag, and a bowling alley. Parents can relax in the Chill Spa, which offers massages, body treatments, healing wraps, nail service, and more. All park guests have 24-hour access to Sweat, a state-of-the-art fitness center.

But Kartrite isn’t just for play—people can visit the resort to work too. The park will host meetings, events, and celebrations in 11,000-square-feet of space. Each event is shepherded by its own dedicated planner that provide businesses and individuals with personalized attention.

Kartrite will offer 324 all-suite guest rooms on 1,600 acres of Monticello wilderness beginning April 19. Rates start at $249 in the low season and $449 in the high season.
