Books of Wonder — This shop has been a favorite of mine since I became a mom nearly six years ago. It recently opened up a second location on the Upper West Side, the orginal one is in Chelsea, and New York families are so happy to have both. The store hosts a number of events for kids including its Teen Author Festival, book launches, and weekly story times. As an added bonus it has a special section dedicated to The Wizard of Oz, where you can find original books and collectibles. For more information visit booksofwonder.com.
