Day Camp For Young Children Welcomes New Director

Palisades Country Day Camp welcomes Laura Hubschman new Camp Director this summer.

Hubschman started as a camper at Palisades Country Day Camp (PCDC) and worked her way up to be a counselor and has also served as Program & Activities Director and as Staff Manager, before becoming Director.

Hubschman has already implemented a plan for more personalized swim instruction as well as developed new theme days, which include “Minion Invasion,” “Emoji Explosion,” and a Hotel Transylvania inspired “Monster Mash.”

Each day campers enjoy three heated pools, two drenching splash parks, a triple decker playground and the most fun, daily activities.

Campers can start as early as 18 months with no potty training necessary. Tiny Tots have their own gated community on the campgrounds, which houses their air conditioned cottage, wading pool, ride on toys, sand box, and picnic benches.  Campers 3 and older have instructional swim lessons every morning, which are taught by a professional lifeguard team and enjoy recreational swim in the afternoon. All campers enjoy special events during themed weeks, including petting zoos, magic shows, carnivals, boat rides, and special performances.

Registration includes snacks, lunch, a backpack, two t-shirts, and towel services.  Before and after care, one-on-one swim lessons after camp and busing are all available at an additional cost.
