Pop-up Attraction Adventures at Governors Island to Open for the 2018 Season

Adventures at Governors Island pop-up attraction is opening for the 2018 season on May 5. The three attractions Flywire Zip Line, Amazen' Maze, and the Climbing Challenge will be available as well as a new mini golf attraction debuting this summer. Adventures at Governors Island is open weekends until the end of May and daily during the summer with select hours in the fall.

The best value for park admission is the $22 Adventure Combo which allows participants to experience each attraction. Once mini golf opens, a separate price point will be provided and will be available on Adventures at Governors Island’s website.

Group trip booking is available by submitting an inquiry on the Adventures at Governors Island website, over the phone, or by email. Groups of 20 participants or more with at least 48 hours advance reservation are offered a special discounted rate. Large groups that often book include camps, schools, and corporate team building workshops. Groups have the option of renting out the entire facility as well as coordinating individual attraction buyouts.

Adventures at Governors Island is fun for children of all ages and the entire family. The Amazen’ Maze and Rockclimbing are appropriate for younger children while the Flywire Zip Line has a height and weight minimum of 40inches tall and 45lbs.

The pop-up attraction is located on the western shore of Governor’s Island across from the Ligget Terrace food court. Enjoy the beautiful views of the harbor, the Statue of Liberty, and Lower Manhattan while your family explores the park.

To get there from the Manhattan Ferry, you turn right and follow the water. From the Brooklyn Ferry, you walk across the island through the Liggett Terrace Food Court to the Adventures site.
