The camps will be running throughout Long Island with weekly full-day and half-day themed sessions such as Eureka!, Robots & Reactions, Robot Engineers, Advanced Robotics, Junior Robotics, Science in Motion, Flight Academy, Detective Academy, Forensic Science, Crazy Chemworks, NASA Space Explorers, and Brixology.
This summer, Sappo School is offering campers the opportunity to explore their art and science skills. Whether your child is interested in drawing, painting, building circuits, dissecting, or studying art through the ages–our workshops offer something for everyone. Art and Science Workshops include: Simple Machines, Forces and Motion, Dissections, Circuits, Exploring Art Through Nature, Art Through The Ages, Art Adventure, and Creatures of the Land & Sea. Village East Gifted is an academic enrichment program offering classes year-round to gifted students ages 3-18. Its summer program, “Camp ThinkTank”, offers three- and four-day workshops for participants in grades second-sixth. Our Summer Adventure Days Camp program adds interactive excitement to summer vacation. Children ages 2-14 explore the wonders of the marine environment through age-appropriate learning and activities. A tour boat adventure, close encounters with marine creatures, the chance to catch fish on a deserted island–just some of the fun for children age 8 and younger. Older kids can collect and identify marine specimens on our tour boat, hike the Pine Barrens, climb a rock wall, go canoeing and kayaking, take a Shark Dive, Snorkel Adventure, and more!
