Find a summer camp or program for your older kid, tween, or teen in Rockland County.
"UPDATED July 2018: Summer camp isn't just for younger kids; older kids, tweens, and teens can take advantage of summer day camps and programming. Look no further for a way to occupy your older kids this summer in Rockland County in a way they’ll actually enjoy. Our guide can help you find the perfect camp for your tween or teen in towns in Rockland County and the surrounding area, including Southfields and in Moodus, CT. If your teen feels like she is too old for summer camp, but can’t get enough of the fun environment of camp, she may be ready to learn how to be a leader. So look into counselor-in-training programs in which she can learn responsibility and maturity. Being a counselor in training helps teens develop their social, academic, athletic, musical, and artistic skills, and more. Plus, if the camp directors are pleased with her performance as a CIT, she may be invited back as a counselor for the following year!
