If your child has aged out of camp (why can’t they stay little forever?!) but wants to stay in the camp environment, why not get them to apply for a CIT program? Young adults who become camp counselors gain valuable skills in their experience as a camp counselor that translate to the professional world, including communication skills and teamwork, leadership skills and responsibility, time management, and problem solving. With all these benefits, enrolling in a counselor-in-training program at a summer day camp is a no brainer!
