For young adventurers, many camps in Queens offer travel and day trip opportunities to locations such as sporting events, amusement parks, beaches, indoor play spaces, parks, bowling alleys, arcades, museums, planetariums, aquariums, and zoos in the area. Some summer camps even offer travel-specific programs in which kids go on a multi-day adventure with counselors! Arts Dance Music Camp of Rego Park

The Arts Dance Music Camp will take field trips on Fridays to various museums and places to visit outside during the summer. Bring your Metro cards, so we can go visit these spots on Fridays via subway.

Blue Dolphin Summer Camp

Every age group at camp goes on day trips. Whether bowling, or exploring at Liberty Science Center, or fishing or enjoying a day hike , campers will love the experience and gain a wonderful appreciation for nature and participating in activities with friends.

In addition to tennis training, players are offered off-court activities such as movie time, board games, snack time, and off-campus excursions. Children wanting to take a break from the tennis courts will have the opportunity for supervised visits throughout the park to enjoy the playgrounds and/or nature walks.

Every other Friday we go on a field trip. We always choose locations that are fun, inspiring, and educational. Destinations for 2018 TBA. Last year we went rock climbing at Cliff, and visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central Park, United Nations, and Old Bethpage Village Restoration.

Cunningham Camps attend numerous trips during the summer. A formal trip is scheduled every other week throughout the summer. In addition, day trips to the movies and bowling are generally conducted on rainy days. The US Open, Adventureland, and Laser Tag are always on the camp calendar.

Although younger campers stay largely on our safe and secure campus with air-conditioned classrooms, an air-conditioned gym, onsite swimming pool and outdoor playground, older campers take weekly theme inspired trips and enjoy special guests and events weekly.

Girl's & Boy's Basketball and Beyond

Day trips will include a fun organized walk to the nearby playground to play basketball outside. Campers will also be taken to a WNBA basketball game at Madison Square Garden!

Hillcrest Jewish Center Day Camp

All age groups attend age-appropriate trips, supervised by counselors and other senior staff. Trip locations include Adventureland, Splish Splash, NYC monuments, and weekly cookouts at Valley Stream State Park.

Istein Education Center

At least once a week the children will visit a local park and every Friday we will go on a field trip (if weather permits). For example, last summer students visited a dance studio, movie theater, arcade, and pottery painting.
