Finding the right programs for children with special needs to have fun can be a challenge—especially if the camp your kid wants to attend doesn’t have the proper support for children with special needs. We took the guesswork out of your summer camp shopping and compiled a list of summer camps on Long Island that are either only for children with special needs or offer services and programs for children with special needs in a mainstream setting. Environmental Boot Camp provides an exciting, outdoor adventure on the shores of Long Island Sound, with a team of professionals that include environmentalists, scientists, and our own special ed staff. This program is meant for 8-14 year olds who may need special education supports.

Sign Language Camp for Hearing Kids is held on the beautiful Mill Neck Manor campus on July 23 – 27 and July 30 – August 3, 2018. This exclusive camp is for hearing children, ages 8 to 16, who are interested in learning American Sign Language (ASL). No experience necessary!

While we cannot have 1:1's stay during camp time due to space limitations, non behavioral students are always welcome!
