Finding the right programs for children with special needs to have fun can be a challenge—especially if the camp your kid wants to attend doesn’t have the proper support for children with special needs. We took the guesswork out of your summer camp shopping and compiled a list of summer camps on Long Island that are either only for children with special needs or offer services and programs for children with special needs in a mainstream setting. These camps with programs for children with special needs are located in and near Nassau and Suffolk counties, including day and specialty camps located in Huntington, Bay Shore, Holtsville, Glen Cove, East Hampton, Patchogue, Mill Neck, Huntington, Miller Place, and Melville.
