The Winter Village at Bryant Park Opens Oct. 31

In addition to a variety of fun winter events and activities, you'll find NYC's only free admission ice skating rink!

Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park, home to holiday shops, an ice rink, a bar and food hall, and so much more winter fun for the whole family, opens at 12pm Thursday, Oct. 31 for the 2019/2020 season. This NYC holiday favorite is home to the city's only free admission ice skating rink, a variety of options for holiday shopping, and fun and unique winter-themed programs and activities, like bumper cars on ice and broom ball.

To start off the fun, a Halloween celebration will be held at 4pm the day of opening, with magic tricks, face painting, pumpkin decorating, and more. The beginning of the holidays will be marked by the annual Winter village Tree Lighting, Thursday, Dec. 5 at 6pm. 

Holiday Shops at Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park offer an open-air market with artisans from NYC and all over the world, guaranteeing you'll find the perfect holiday gift for everyone on your list. The shops open on Oct. 31 and remain open through Jan. 5. Hours are: Monday-Friday, 11am-8pm; and Saturday-Sunday, 10am-8pm. 

The Rink also opens Oct. 31 and welcomes online skate reservations. You'll also have the opportunity to visit for free skating shows, special events, and activities at The Rink. It is open daily, including holidays, and admission is free.  For skate rental rates, visit the Bryant Park website.  

The Lodge offers a cozy indoor spot for food, including Pierogi Boys, S'mores N'more by Renegade, and The Stackery; warm beverages; and a cocktail or beer. The Lodge is also open daily, 8am-10pm, and remains open through March 1, 2020. 

2020 events at the Bryant Park Winter Village to look forward to include live music in the Lodge (select Thursdays in February),  Kids Week, the return of Bumper Cars on ice in January, Ready-to-Skate StoryTime, a free Broomball demo, Santa's Corner, and Winter Fitness (Thursdays, Jan. 9- Feb 27 6-7pm).
