In early December, Two Boots Pizza opened its newest location in Park Slope. “We love the neighborhood and wanted to be a part of it,” says Dennis Eschenberg, co-owner of the Park Slope and Williamsburg locations. “When we found this location, we were excited to find a new home.”

The new location offers make-your-own-pizza parties for children’s birthdays. Upon arrival, each party attendee gets a chef hat to decorate. They then put it on and learn to make a pie, from tossing the dough to picking out toppings. “I love personally doing that and turning the next generation of kids onto pizza making and great ingredients,” Eschenberg says.

In addition to offering the same quality pies the other Two Boots locations offer, the Park Slope pizzeria offers buffalo chicken sandwiches and sliders that feature Bumblefoot hot sauce. “We are friends with Bumblefoot, who is the current guitarist with Guns N Roses. He has a terrific line of hot sauces, and I wanted to find a way to utilize them,” Eschenberg says. “We love and appreciate the passion he has for food.”

The first Two Boots Pizza location was opened by two indie filmmakers—who loved pizza, and all things New Orleans—in Manhattan’s East Village in 1987. The name comes from the two geographical ‘boots’ of Italy and Louisiana, and all locations serve Cajun-Italian cuisine to honor the two.

Two Boots in Park Slope offer dine-in, take-out, and delivery service. The pizzeria delivers to the area between Flatbush and 15th Street, from 4th Avenue to Prospect Park West.
