Walt Whitman Shops Unveils New “Santa Set” for Families This Holiday Season

The new Santa Set is a 360-degree experience–with Santa in the center–that families can enjoy all season long.

Walt Whitman Shops has revealed that a brand-new Santa Set display will be part of this year’s holiday festivities that will allow families to have all kinds of fun while visiting with Santa throughout the season. The ‘Illuminated Holidays’ Santa Set will feature more than 20,000 LED lightbulbs and a 16-foot-tall Christmas tree, and Santa at the center of all the action of course, to create a 360-degree experience. Santa will be at the mall ready for kids to share all their Christmas wishes from now till Dec. 24 in the Center Court during regular mall hours.

“Visiting the new Illuminated Holidays Santa Set experience at Walt Whitman Shops is a fun way for families to create lasting memories and experience all the joy that this Holiday season has to offer,” said Jessica Ekin, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Walt Whitman Shops. “We recognize the importance of sharing traditions with loved ones during the holidays and want to enable families to experience this special time with Santa in his new and festive home.”

The Santa Photo Experience will include chances for your pets to take photos with Saint Nick, and special Caring Santa hours will allow kids with special needs to spend 1-on-1 time with Santa in a sensory-friendly environment. You can RSVP to attend a Caring Santa event, which begin on Dec. 1.

Beyond telling him their holiday wishes, children can enjoy milk and cookies with Santa from 11am-1pm on Saturday, Dec. 14–and there will be a Disney Jr. holiday event on that Saturday as well! While no Disney characters will be present, kids can still have fun singing and dancing along to holiday tunes. Kids can drop their Christmas lists in Santa’s mailbox until Christmas Eve. He collects his letters every night.

Purchase a Santa FastPass to skip the line and save time. For more information on this year’s new Illuminated Holidays setup and when you can meet Santa, head to the Walt Whitman site.
