Very Very Verrazano

AGES: 5-12 
WHERE: New York Transit Museum, Corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street, Brooklyn Heights 
WHEN: Feb. 14-15 and 21-22, 1:30pm
WHAT: A giant-size model of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge is being built in the museum’s Education Center. Learn about the towers, anchorages, cables, and deck that make this suspension bridge an engineering marvel.

February Break Discovery Days  

AGES: All 
WHERE: Brooklyn Botanic Garden, 900 Washington Ave., Crown Heights 
WHEN: Feb. 16-18, 11am-1pm
WHAT: Kids use their senses to investigate plants and objects firsthand and find out how plants survive in environments from deserts to rainforests. Explore the conservatories on scavenger hunts, listen to stories, and pot up a plant to bring home.

Kids Week 2015

Curve City Lab

Train Operators School
