Xplore Family Fun Center to Open in Port Jefferson Station

The indoor play space will feature huge inflatables, arcade games, and a toddler area.

Xplore Family Fun Center, an indoor play space for ages 1-12, is slated to open its Port Jefferson Station location in early March. The new indoor play space is under the same ownership as (and is a sister location of) Safari Adventure in Riverhead.

Housed in the former Fun4All location, the 20,000-square-foot facility has undergone renovations and will have a variety of attractions for children ages 1-12. The play space will feature three huge inflatables; a 20-foot-tall soft playground with a zip line/rail, swing, bouncy web, slides, and more; 35 arcade games; and a laser maze. The facility also has a dedicated soft area for toddlers that will include a small merry-go-round, rotating inflatable rocket ship, and sensory activity panels along the sides.

An on-site full-service cafe will have organic and gluten-free options on the menu.Several birthday party packages will be available—and are currently available for booking. The owners say they are particularly excited about the XLOFT package that offers customers a large upstairs party room, including a lounge area complete with couches for both children and adults in a more private setting.

Costumed character appearances, whic are a children's favorite at Safari Adventure, are also planned at Xplore. Children will be able to dance, interact, and take photos with a variety of popular kids-movie characters. Safari Adventure has hosted Spider-Man, Owlette, Shrek, and others.

As a sister indoor play space to Safari Adventure, patrons can use memberships, punch passes, gift and arcade cards, and loyalty rewards at both facilities.

Xplore will be open seven days a week, 10am-7pm. Open play will be available during regular business hours. Admission fees apply for children, but parents will be admitted free.
