Marion M. Walsh, Esq., is a partner with the firm of Littman Krooks LLP and leads the education law practice. Marion has worked in education law for 20 years and has been an advocate for children in many capacities. She represents parents on behalf of students with disabilities in advocacy and litigation with school districts, in the greater New York City area and beyond. She specializes in representing parents of children and young adults with depression and anxiety and other mental health challenges with school advocacy and locating an appropriate placement and services, as well as college transition.
Marion serves on the Board of Directors with NAMI Westchester and has volunteered as a NAMI “Ending the Silence” Presenter for middle and high school students on suicide prevention. She also serves on the Executive Board of the Lower Hudson Special Education Task Force. She is certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid and is a certified Impartial Hearing Officer, by the New York State Education Department. She received the “Advocate of the Year” Award, from Westchester Jewish Community Services in June 2014. Marion resides with her husband in the Hudson Valley and has four children.
