Event description: The City Congregation for Humanistic Judaism hosts Dr. Ilana Abramovitch of Brooklyn College, who explores how customs, traditions, tales, legends, and sayings, as well as recipes, folk tunes, and clothes have informed Jewish life. Follows 7:30pm secular Shabbat service. Childcare available.
