Event description: Calling all moms to get in shape, meet other moms, and help fight cancer. You can join The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Moms In Training program. The program runs from Sept. 28 to Nov. 24 and kicks off on Sept. 21. Moms and children are welcome at the Kick Off.

The program culminates with a 5-mile run or walk in Central Park on Nov. 17 or a 15K in the Bronx on Nov. 24 (event participation is optional).

Participants join a flexible, 8-week workout program on Saturday mornings at 9am at one of the following locations: - Central Park (72nd Street), Manhattan - Madison Square Park, Manhattan - Washington Square Park, Manhattan (5-mile group only) - Pier 25 in Battery Park, Manhattan (5-mile group only) - Prospect Park, Brooklyn - Astoria Park, Queens (5-mile group only) - Clove Lakes Park, Staten Island

Plus, enjoy social events throughout the season with moms in your area.
