Event description: Kids ages 6-10 are encouraged to dress up as a a butterfly or a caterpillar as they are led by an APEC Butterfly Educator through various butterfly stations. Activities include making a butterfly shaped sandwich, tattoos, and craft corner, photo booth, and storytelling circle. At the end of this event the children will adopt their own butterfly larva that they can care for and release. A nature hike to look for caterpillars and butterflies is included. Pre-registration is required.
