Event description: Come learn what causes the weather and how the weather affects people. Who studies the weather and what instruments do they use to do this? Discoverers ages 8-12 will be taught, hands on, how to create their own weather instruments using household materials. Snack included.

Alley Pond Park is the home of the Douglaston Estate Windmill, a reminder of their agricultural past.
