Event description:

The world would be a lot different without the honey bee. Join beekeeper, Nick Hoefly, of Astor Apiaries, for an afternoon all about these sweet little insects. Learn how honey bees work together to build their colony, collect food, and raise new bees. Find out why it's not always great to be Queen and get up close with specimens from the hive. You will leave this talk with a better understanding of our relationship with the honey bee and what you can do to help them out. Registration required.
