Nature Journaling Walk

This event has already taken place. Click here for the latest events.

Led by a seasoned APEC educator, young learners will enjoy a guided walk along the trails of Alley Pond Park appreciating the local flora and fauna.  There will be a short time to pause and sit quietly as they write down observations of their natural surroundings. At the end of the walk there will be a chance to share thoughts and ideas about how to better appreciate nature while enjoying lemonade and cookies. This walk is for young people who are interested in nature and writing.  Supplies and snack included. Children must wear a mask for the entire program. Limited space available. Ages 7-9 (drop-off).
