Bergen County Zoo

Event description: Check out animal artifacts from endangered species and displays in the Zoo's Education / Discovery lab. The day also includes keeper chats by some of the zoo's endangered species as well as live animal shows in the amphitheater, endangered species zoo tours, and activities for kids.

Bergen County Zoological Park is a 15-acre zoological animal park within the beautiful Van Saun Park. This AZA Accredited zoo houses animals from North, South, and Central America including tapir, spider monkeys, bison, elk, and a Colonial Dutch Farmyard featuring rare-breed farm animals. Come for a family fun day and be sure to stop by the Education Center to visit with the reptiles, amphibians, and more!
