Bergen County Zoo

Event description: Kids are invited to spend an evening at the zoo learning about owls, cats, skunks, and other nocturnal animals. Take a "night hike" through the zoo to see some of these creatures of the night. This one-hour program is for children ages 9-12 (no adults).

Bergen County Zoological Park is a 15-acre zoological animal park within the beautiful Van Saun Park. This AZA Accredited zoo houses animals from North, South, and Central America including tapir, spider monkeys, bison, elk, and a Colonial Dutch Farmyard featuring rare-breed farm animals. Come for a family fun day and be sure to stop by the Education Center to visit with the reptiles, amphibians, and more!
