Event description: While New Jersey teachers are learning about education at the NJ Education Association convention, students can learn about their state's endangered species during this three hour special program. Kids ages 8-12 can find out which reptiles, amphibians, and other creeping creatures are at risk and why. This class will take place both inside our classroom and outside in the zoo. Bring lunch.

Bergen County Zoological Park is a 15-acre zoological animal park within the beautiful Van Saun Park. This AZA Accredited zoo houses animals from North, South, and Central America including tapir, spider monkeys, bison, elk, and a Colonial Dutch Farmyard featuring rare-breed farm animals. Come for a family fun day and be sure to stop by the Education Center to visit with the reptiles, amphibians, and more!
