The zoo hosts this new six-week program is for children ages 2-3 1/2 and an adult to explore animals through the works of six well known authors: Beatrice Potter, Marcus Pfister, Karma Wilson, John Butler, Dr. Seuss, and Jan Brett. Each week participants will listen to stories from a different author, conduct activities and crafts, and visit with an animal inside the classroom before venturing out into the zoo to see some of the animal stars of the various books. Registration is required. Class meets each Wednesday through April 16.
