Event description: Celebrate one of the world's most beloved and most endangered animals. Learn what you can do to help protect these fantastic beasts. Bring your favorite toy elephant to the zoo for a full day of elephant fun. Keeper chats, story time, and crafts will be a part of Elephant Day. Free with paid admission.

Bergen County Zoological Park is a 15-acre zoological animal park within the beautiful Van Saun Park. This AZA Accredited zoo houses animals from North, South, and Central America including tapir, spider monkeys, bison, elk, and a Colonial Dutch Farmyard featuring rare-breed farm animals. Come for a family fun day and be sure to stop by the Education Center to visit with the reptiles, amphibians, and more!
