BloomAgain Bklyn, a community based non-profit, is offering the opportunity for kids to create greeting cards with silk flowers for NYC-area nursing home residents, homebound seniors, and teachers as a way to give back to the community. Reserve your free card-making kits by May 12! Kits can be picked up at Christ Church in Cobble Hill (326 Clinton Street) on Tuesday, May 18, or Thursday, May 20, between 9:00am and 12:00pm. Completed cards must be dropped off on June 1 or 3. A fun, instructional video will be emailed on May 18 directly to all who register, and will help families to learn how to create cards and apply silk flowers. BloomAgain Bklyn is a non-profit that repurposes donated flowers into arrangements for NYC nursing home residents, frontline workers, homebound seniors, teachers & more.
