Indulge in tasty bites and sizzling sauces from over three-dozen food artisans who bring the heat from around the world. Enjoy spicy demonstrations, hands-on cooking classes, foodie-friendly tours and talks by BBG gardeners, activities for children in the Discovery Garden, and pop-up performances by roving musicians and artists.

5–7 p.m. Evening Performances: New Orleans Comes to Brooklyn

Dance to the jams of some of the Big Easy’s finest musicians, assembled by keeper of New Orleans music traditions John “Papa” Gros. And get your carnival on with Big Chief Monk Boudreaux and his Queen celebrating the music and traditions of the African American Mardi Gras Indians.
