Did you know that Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is celebrated on the third Monday of January each year to mark the birthday of civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.? Throughout his life, Dr. King worked to achieve equality in America by fighting against racial discrimination. Join Brooklyn Children’s Museum to honor the life and legacy of the iconic civil rights leader and celebrate themes of diversity, equality, freedom, and resistance.
