BKCM's free Open Stages music festival will bring people together and spread good energy throughout Park Slope in a celebration of community, culture and Brooklyn's vibrant music scene. 15 stages – including stoops, school lots, parks, gardens and sidewalks – will host more than 150 musicians, including hip hop artists, classical musicians, marching bands, kids' groups, an “Encanto” sing-along, plus ensembles and student groups from all of BKCM's flagship programs and much, much more. Open Stages is a free event, but there are ticket options (which allow access to food and drinks throughout the event) for those interested in supporting the day’s musicians as well as financial aid to BKCM’s community programs – including Music Partners and Music Therapy – which reach thousands of youth and adults across all five boroughs of New York City.
