Kids Fitness With Zing!

This event has already taken place. Click here for the latest events.

Zing! is a fun-powered experience to help kids (and parents!) feel amaZING through movement, mindset, and play. Zing! fitness & confidence classes are educational, interactive, charged with positivity, and are known for generating lots of smiles! Each class starts with a warm-up, continues with circuits of total body, creative exercises designed for kids to love, a Zinger! (a high energy athletic finishers), a celebratory party, and a cool-down. Kids (and parents!) will finish class feeling like absolute rockstars. All participants will receive a special Zing! Star Certificate of achievement at the end of each class.

All you need for class is water, lightweight clothes to move in (shorts, t-shirt, tank, etc.) sneakers, and a positive attitude. No equipment is required, but a fitness/yoga mat and sweat towel are highly recommended. Each class is geared towards kids 5-12, but children younger than that can join with parent participation. All kids must have adult supervision throughout the class. While the class is for kids, parents are encouraged to join in and make it fun for the whole family.

About Bryant Park

40th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues

Midtown, NY

  • Standard hours: Monday-Sunday, 7am; Closing time varies by season

  • Bryant Park is situated behind the New York Public Library in midtown Manhattan, between 40th and 42nd Streets & Fifth and Sixth Avenues.

Today’s version of Bryant Park–with its gravel paths, green chairs, and jaunty le carrousel–is a recent invention. Though the space has been called Bryant Park since 1842, the park has had a checkered career. By 1979, it was the site of frequent muggings and drug deals and was avoided by knowledgeable New Yorkers. An almost ten-year effort, begun in 1980, transformed the park and its reputation.
