Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is hosting a series of open houses for prospective campers and families of children and young adults with special needs. Parents should bring their children if they are to be a new camper this summer. During the tour, parents will have a chance to meet the year-round staff and ask questions or address any concerns that they might have. In addition, they will have the opportunity to see the new dining hall that will accommodate more campers during mealtime. Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is a resident summer camp serving children and young adults ages six to 21 with both physical and developmental special needs. Its mission is to help these children to achieve equality, dignity, and maximum independence through a safe and quality program of camping, recreation, and education. Throughout the program, campers participate in many activities, such as arts and crafts, talent shows, cook-outs, swimming and boating.
