Event description: With Purim just around the corner, families with kids who have special needs should know about this High Holy Day worship service which is sure to be a fun and meaningful experience.

The Purim celebration is designed to be accessible, respectful, and embrace a wide variety of needs and sensitivities. The service is musical and interactive and open to the entire community, members and non-members, and all ages are welcome. Families will sing, play instruments, eat hamantaschen (and a variety of other healthy and tasty snacks), and come together with joy for the holiday.

The service will include American Sign Language interpretation, a quiet room, and a visual schedule to help accommodate various needs, and the synagogue will provide a social story in advance of the service for anyone who would like to become familiarized with the experience and space.

RSVP is encouraged. If you have questions or to RSVP, contact: specialneeds@crsnyc.org or 646-454-3124.
