The Paper Bag Players, a beloved favorite, return to the Emelin. Described by Parent Guide as "side splittingly funny and jam-packed with energy and pizzazz," the players are sure to dazzle and entertain everyone ages 2 and older.
For their new show, "Hiccup Help!," The Paper Bag Players have dug deep into their bag of favorites and pulled out "Lost In The Mall," "That's Good," and "A Perfect Picture," in which the picture is not only painted but comes to life as you watch. They then combined these classic numbers with a heaping helping of the brand-new.
There is an uproarious story of a grandad and his young grandson who both discover that you are never, never too old to play! In the title piece, an ordinary man with an extraordinary case of the hiccups sees a doctor who has a whole list of silly solutions but in the end even the Doctor is surprised by the cure! In "Real Magic," a magician loses control of his magic, but with the audience's help and a little cooperation everything works out magically!
The award-winning Paper Bag Players have been keeping it simple - and simply hilarious for 55 years! True to this theatrical tradition, "Hiccup Help!" is guaranteed to have 4-8 year olds not only on the edge of their seats, but laughing, singing, and dancing in the aisles.. Most appropriate for ages 2 and older.
