As NYC's first and only outlet destination, Empire Outlets will host its first tree lighting ceremony with a 40-foot crystal tree and an evening of live music and caroling, hot chocolate, seasonal bites, in-store shopping deals and holiday revelry for the whole family. The also aligns with #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. In the spirit of the charitable season, Empire Outlets will partner with Toys for Tots and will ask guests to bring much-needed toys for kids in need during the holiday season. At 5pm, guests enjoy pre-show caroling and complimentary hot chocolate. The program will begin at 6pm with holiday medley performances, followed by welcome remarks by Joseph Ferrara and event partners, as well as a countdown to light the holiday tree and LED lights that will illuminate Empire Outlets' central courtyard. In addition to the tree lighting ceremony, Empire Outlets will debut a Pop-Up Holiday Market with local merchants, Snug Harbor's Lantern Festival Exhibit, photo with Santa for the youngest shoppers and a Christmas Tree Market on Richmond Terrace. Empire Outlets will also collect letters to Santa until Christmas Eve. EO is located from the base of the St. George Terminal of the Staten Island Ferry- a mere 20-minute FREE ferry ride from Manhattan that runs 365 days a year.
