Description: Enter a world where the gods roam the earth, where the sound of a flute means that Krishna is near, where peacocks dance in the rain, and where Shiva's third eye opens in fury.

Combining rhythmic footwork with beautiful hand & facial gestures, Sonali will present the music and stories that are timeless to Indian culture, including the dance of Ganesha, the battle between Krishna and the serpent demon Kalinga, and the grandeur of Lord Rama.

Participants will learn hand & facial gestures, and the basic steps which form the classical art of Bharatanatyam dance, accompanied by live music.
