Event description: With fiery interplay between Chinese & Western instruments, Jason Kao Hwang's Burning Bridge is a dramatic journey of sonic discoveries and sets ablaze the boundaries of cultural identity featuring Mr. Hwang's acclaimed EDGE quartet (Jason Kao Hwang, composer, violin; Andrew Drury, drums; Ken Filiano, string bass; Stephen Haynes, cornet), plus Four (Wang Guowei, erhu; Sun Li, pipa; Steve Swell, trombone; Joe Daley, tuba). Q&A follows the concert.

Flushing Town Hall provides exciting opportunities for kids and families to encounter the arts together.  Their performance series showcases talented professionals from a variety of performing arts and cultures whose shows have proven to be entertaining for audience members young and old.  Their Interactive Arts compliment these presentations by giving kids and families a fun opportunity to do a hands-on exploration of the show's art forms taught by the performers or Flushing Town Hall teaching artists.
