Flushing Town Hall's master Teaching Artists offer online classes, as their free series Global Arts for Global Kids I (GAGK I) returns with the original English version and four newly translated versions: Hindi, Spanish, Chinese and Korean.
The replay of this arts education series will run from January 11th, 2021 to March 11th, 2021. Students will have the opportunity to explore nine different topics every week for a total of 45 video lessons: Colombian Music, Chinese Dance, Pop-up Book Page Making, Indian Dance, Mexican Dance, African Drumming, Dance Party in the United States, Visual Signs of Gratitude, and Stories from Quarantine. Lessons are provided weekly and each week's lessons will be available every Monday on FTH’s website (can be accessed anytime) and Facebook page at 2 PM EST. Each video lesson will be accompanied by activity worksheets in the above mentioned languages.
Participants are encouraged to post short video clips of themselves learning on Facebook and tag FTH facebook page @flushingtownhall.org. This rerun series offers an additional interactive option for student enrichment: live virtual workshops “Meet the Artist” and “Jam with the Artist”.

Their performance series showcases talented professionals from a variety of performing arts and cultures whose shows have proven to be entertaining for audience members young and old. Their interactive arts compliment these presentations by giving kids and families a fun opportunity to do a hands-on exploration of the show's art forms taught by the performers or Flushing Town Hall teaching artists.
