Guests can sit in style at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park on Roosevelt Island. Fifty colorful chairs are set up on the Great Lawn for Park visitors to enjoy. Bring your family and friends to lounge in the sun and take in breathtaking views of Manhattan and Queens. The installation is being hosted by the Four Freedoms Park Conservancy in partnership with the Woolrich Outdoor Foundation to encourage people to enjoy the great outdoors. The chairs are the first in a series of special offerings to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the park, which opened to the public in 2012. The park is accessible via the Tramway at East 60th St. and Second Avenue, F train to Roosevelt Island stop, NYC Ferry (Astoria Route), Q102 bus from Queens and by car (no on-site parking available).
