Haskell Library Open House & Story Time Saturday, March 2, from 3–4:30pm Ages 3–6

Explore the Library’s kids’ collection and enjoy story time and arts and crafts in French from 3:30–4:15pm.

Concert & Fashion Workshop with Domitille & Astrazz Duo Saturday, March 2 at 3:15pm

Ages 4 & up In French Accompanied by the Parisian Jazz duo Astrazz, French singer and stylist Domitille sings classic poems by Maurice Carême. Following the concert, children will create their own designs inspired by the music and poems.

Concert Percussions Claviers de Lyon Saturday, March 2 at 7pm

Ages 7 & up In English Enter the magical world of Charles Perrault, father of the modern fairytale, in this inventive concert by the internationally renowned Percussions Claviers de Lyon.

With marimbas, vibraphones, xylophones, and a virtual 3-D narrator, this quintet re-imagines composer Maurice Ravel’s piano duet, Ma Mère l’Oye (Mother Goose), based on stories by Perrault. Coupled with gorgeous projections, this performance will captivate audiences of all ages.
