Celebrate Earth Day with a full day of events:

FILM: ALL ABOUT FOREST ECOSYSTEMS, 10am, 12pm and 2pm:  Viewers will discover the three different types of forests found around the world (rainforests, deciduous forests, and coniferous forests) and explore the plant and animal life found there. A fun, hands-on experiment illustrates why rain forest soil is so poor in nutrients, while a visit with a scientist examines one of the world's most famous predators - the boa constrictor! 23 mins.

EARTH DAY WOODLAND WILDFLOWER WALK, 11am and 1pm: Take a walk around the preserve and discover the spring ephemerals, beautiful wildflowers that only bloom for a short period of time in early Spring. Learn some interesting natural history & about special pollinators. Ages 7+. Sign up in advance.

EARTH DAY PAPER-MAKING WORKSHOP, 10am-4pm, on the 1/2 hour:  Make beautiful paper in an assortment of colors! Sign up required.
