Take a culinary journey to explore the world's noodle culture during this six-week interactive cooking class series, presented by the children-oriented nutrition and healthy cooking nonprofit The Sylvia Center and acclaimed caterer Great Performances. This first class - each is a stand-alone; no need to commit to entire series - will focus on the U.S. with step-by-step instruction in the preparation of a pasta salad by a chef adept at addressing all ages and skill levels. Future classes will be dedicated to Italian, Japanese, Moroccan, Peruvian and Russian noodles. Prior to each class, participants will be able to download a prep kit with a shopping list, recipe and information about any pre-class work that would be helpful. To assure the interactive factor, the number of Zoom seats is limited; although, families can have as many people in their kitchen as they like. Advanced registration required.
