Learn how to identify and count backyard songbirds at the Audubon Center in Greenwich bird feeders and take a brief walk through their Apple Orchard to find birds outside. Afterwards, submit your findings data to an online database and learn how you can do the bird count at home! All data collected by count participants will be used as crucial data by ornithologists to study the health of the bird populations. All ages are welcome. To RSVP, please call or e-mail Ryan MacLean at Ryan.MacLean@audubon.org. To learn more about the Great Backyard Bird Count, visit gbbc.birdcount.org.
