Explore the many ways you can help birds and make them feel at home with bird feeders, birdbaths, birdhouses, and beyond! Did you know you can build your own bird feeder at home? Join Greenwich Audubon Center and learn how you can do this with bird feeder kits, or even just by reusing some household items such as milk cartons! In this online program, you will learn various fun and creative ways to build feeders at home, and see how to assemble a wooden bird feeder that you can purchase in advance, so that you can construct your feeder at home while you watch along! They will also discuss the benefits of and tips for including birdbaths, birdhouses, and other beneficial bird features in your yard. Bird Feeder Kit: If you'd like to purchase a bird feeder kit to accompany your ticket, please choose the ticket option that includes this. Please note, the kits are available for local curbside pickup ONLY. If you don’t purchase the feeder kit now, this program will be available to view later, so you can always go back to view how to construct a feeder at another time. You can also enjoy viewing the program without a feeder kit to get inspiration! Nature enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels are welcome. Pre-registration is required. For questions, please contact Ryan MacLean at Ryan.MacLean@audubon.org or 203-930-1353. Upon registering, you will receive a link and password to access this event on Zoom, which will be highlighted in yellow in your email receipt. In addition to supporting Audubon's conservation work, 50% of all ticket sales and 10% of bird feeder kit sales will go towards supporting Neighbor to Neighbor, a local nonprofit whose mission is to provide food, clothing, and living essentials to residents in need. Please note, by signing up for this event you are consenting to receive emails from Audubon about this program and our conservation work. You may opt-out of our emails at any time. Ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. If you cannot attend the virtual program for any reason, you can share your ticket with another guest. Eastern Bluebird.
