After Hurricane Sandy, Jamaica, Queens needed a sign of hope and Parade on Rockaway was born. Since then, every year (even when a pandemic hit) HopeNYC has brought joy, hope, and Christmas to the borough.  New York is full of Christmas wonder from Rockefeller Center to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade- NYC is the place to be at Christmas time! Parade on Rockaway is one of those gems that still hasn't been discovered by millions of people yet. You still have a chance to get up close and personal! Participate in a weekend filled with Christmas cheer!

Friday, be there when the Christmas season officially kicks off with the lighting of the largest Christmas Tree in Queens!

Saturday, children ages 0-10 will recieve a toy of their own! Just be sure to sign up in advance. 

Sunday, the Parade on Rockaway will step off from 130th street and Rockaway Blvd. featuring16 plus floats and dancers marching east bound down Rockaway Blvd towards 143rd Street.  At 143rd street the celebration continues at 142-82 Rockaway Blvd. with the Hope Holiday Winter Village featuring vendors for shopping, food, special Christmas attractions, and much more!
