Museum admission: $6; $3 youth ages 3-18 and students with ID; $2 seniors; free for children younger than 3

Event description: New for young families! Sit near Glenview's Great Hall fireplace and listen to a story about this old house told by a Glenview "Explainer" - students from Sarah Lawrence, Mercy, and Lehman (CUNY) colleges, who study the inside and outside of this 1876 mansion that is a "National Historic Place." Find out about the Victorian family, the Trevors, who lived here over 100 years ago in a "make believe" tea party. Program is 30 minutes. Appropriate for ages 3 and older. Free with Museum admission.

The Hudson River Museum is the largest cultural institution in Westchester County and a multidisciplinary complex that draws its identity from its site on the banks of the Hudson River. The Museum collections focus on 19th-century through contemporary American Art; Glenview, an 1876 house on the National Register of Historic Places; Hudson Riverama, an environmental teaching gallery; a state-of-the-art, 120-seat planetarium, and a 400-seat outdoor amphitheater with programs every weekend, special days for families and events throughout the year.
