With National Bullying Prevention Month right around the corner in October, Huntington Learning Center will hold a very special webinar on how to help children with bullying and social isolation. During this Huntington How-To, take a detailed look at bullying so parents can understand the different types of bullying that exist, what it does to children psychologically, and how to see it and take steps to help overcome it. This special webinar will be presented by Dr. Amanda Morales, Psy.D. and sponsored by Huntington Learning Center. The webinar will cover: What is bullying and different types The effects of bullying How "being virtual" can create more social isolation How to know if your child is being bullied or is bullying others What steps you can take to handle bullying and social isolation at home We also will take your questions with Dr. Morales at the end of the webinar.
