JBFC Kids Screening: Swallows and Amazons at Jacob Burns Film Center

Event description:

It’s holiday time in the English Lake District, and the four Walker children are itching for adventure. They are given permission to camp out on their own on a nearby island. Full of excitement, the crew sets sail to stake their claim, but soon realize they are not the only kids on the island. Whose territory is it? Their dispute suddenly becomes less important when the Walkers and their new friends discover a mysterious man hiding nearby—and end up having a series of exploits quite different from the ones they’d planned.
