Event description: All ages celebrate the art of collage on this day of investigation and creation. Hear, see, and learn about surprising sounds, images, and ideas. Find out what makes collage such an intriguing medium. Presented in conjunction with "Remix: Selections from the International Collage Center."

At 1:30pm, families watch as featured Center artist Bryan Collier reveals the artistic process behind the collage portraits in his picture books. At 12:30pm and 2:15pm, enjoy music by Too Human, a family entertaining duo, as they perform musical collages and motivate visitors to join them. From 12-5pm, all ages can create their own collage portrait that will hang in the Project Gallery during the fall portrait exhibition. At 3pm, adults can participate, get inspired, and make their own collage, as visiting artist Josh Dorman demonstrates his unique collage style.
