Event description: A picture can tell 1,000 stories, and every portrait tells a unique story all it's own. Have you ever made a portrait? Children can learn about the people and meanings in the portraits at King Manor, and then tell their story and show their creativity when they make their own special portrait.

Founded in 1900, King Manor Association of L.I., Inc. operates King Manor as a historic house museum to preserve and interpret the home and legacy of Rufus King.  Our goal is to make history relevant and immediate, and to foster an awareness of the roots of the present and a deeper appreciation of history as an on-going process.
